Cystex Review and giveaway Closed
I recently got the opportunity to try Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex with Proantinox. This product is used to help maintain urinary tract health. If you have ever had a Urinary Tract Infection, you know that it is very uncomfortable. If you are not really a fan of drinking cranberry juice (as I am not), you can try Cystex to keep your urinary tract healthy.
More than 60% of women suffer from UTI's at some point in their lives. Urinary tract infections occur when the urinary tract cannot rid itself of bacteria. These cling to the walls of the urinary tract and cause an infection. If you have a UTI you have to go to a doctor to get antibiotics to rid your body of the infection.
What I like about Cystex is that it only takes 1 tablespoon to get the affects of 8 glasses of cranberry juice. I don't drink 8 glasses of cranberry juice in a year so this is great for me. You can force yourself to take 1 tablespoon of just about anything, but this is not awful to take. It kind of reminds me of the stuff that you take when you are pregnant and the doctor wants to check your blood sugar.
We could probably all use a little help keeping our urinary tract healthy so one little tablespoon of Cystex can make that easier to do. Another good thing about Cystex is that there are not nearly as many calories in Cystex as there are in cranberry juice, which can be loaded with sugar and calories.
If you are susceptible to reoccuring UTI's, this is a doable alternative to chugging glasses of cranberry juice. A study being published in the journal, Urology, showed that 91% of women who take Cystex daily remained free of recurring UTI's. I think it is at least worth a shot to save yourself a trip to the doctor's office.

Lots of interesting info including Cystex has a higher absorption rate than cranberry tablets, provides 17 times more proanthocyanidins (PACS)¹, is lactose-, gluten- and sugar-free, and is just one calorie per tablespoon.

I learned that Cystex has a "dual-action formula that not only eases the pain and burning caused by a urinary tract infection (UTI), but also contains an antibacterial (methenamine) to help keep the infection from getting worse while you wait for your doctor’s appointment."

UTIs are considered the second most common infection in the body. This is what I learned.
