Duncan Hines Decadent Cakes and Amazing Glazes review and giveaway

Recently I had the opportunity to try out Duncan Hines Decadent Cakes and Amazing Glazes. We use Duncan Hines products all the time but these I hadn't tried before because they're new. I received a box of the Apple Caramel Decadent Cake Mix and the Triple Chocolate Decadent Cake Mix. I also received both glazes. You can guess which one I dug into first! Yep, the apple. You probably figured that I would've gotten into the chocolate first and normally, you'd be correct. Here's the thing though; I wanted to get the apple one out of the way because I knew that chocolate is my absolute favorite-ist thing in the world.

It turns out that the apple cake was just ah-ight for me (quoting Randy Jackson from A.I.). I'm not a huge apple-baked-in-stuff fan, but I know that many people are. If you are one of those people than this is for you. If I had it to do again I'd probably sift out the little pieces of apple and would just make it like caramel-cinnamon bread. I'd sprinkle in some cinnamon (I don't think it has it in there) and it would be super yummy. I used the Vanilla Amazing Glaze on top o' the Apple Caramel Decadent cake.

Now for my favorite part: the Triple Chocolate Decadent Cake Mix. Doesn't that sound lip-smackingly good? Well, it is. I made it Thursday night. I was kinda in a hurry because Fringe was coming on, but I was able to whip it together in minutes. Then, of course, the difficult part is waiting for the cake to cool so that you can take it out of the pan. It turned out even better than I thought it would. The cake was so moist and chocolaty.
